As a journalist I have been closely involved with music and opera first in my home town, Verona, and subsequently in Madrid (where I now live). I particularly like to engage with questions connected with the management of artistic and cultural life: a subject I have discussed in many interviews with various superintendents, directors of music festivals, artistic directors, conductors, performers, composers and stage directors.
My collaboration with the Il Giornale della Musica, which began in 1994, continues as the correspondent for Spain, where among other things I regularly follow the productions of Madrid’s Teatro Real.
Music critic for the cultural pages of the daily newspapers: La Cronaca di Verona, L’Arena di Verona.
Collaboration with journals: Il Giornale della Musica, Amadeus, Cadenze, Transatlantico, Rumor(s)cena, for which I follow not only the classical repertoire, but also contemporary music, jazz, theatre and dance performances.
Reviews, communications and reports: Arena di Verona, Teatro la Fenice of Venice, Venice Biennale, Teatro Bibiena of Mantua, Teatro Real of Madrid, Printemps des arts of Montecarlo, Palau de les Arts “Reina Sofia” of Valencia, Auditorio Nacional of Madrid, Festival Internacional de Música y Danza of Granada, Festival “Las huelgas Medieval” of Burgos, Abu Dhabi Festival.
